Why not combine two outdoor favorites at the same time?  Okay, you can't actually Hike while Fishing but you know what I mean.  Find a lake near you that may have some established trails and backpack with your fishing gear. It is truly a relaxing endeavor and it will extend your outdoor time.  You may even capture a few good photos as you take in the scenery hiking from fishing spot to fishing spot...and maybe a fish or two.  I wasn't so lucky with the fish catching but managed to snag this photo.  It’s a good day to be outdoors.
